Gray Ghost Interest Form

Gray Ghosts are typically older volunteers with much construction and repair experience. They give 30-70 hours per month completing various tasks and leading smaller groups of less experienced volunteers. Other times, dedicated volunteers shadow current Gray Ghosts to develop their technical and leadership skills.

We primarily focus on home repairs for older adults that range from fixing water damaged floors, building wheel chair accessible ramps, installing grab bars, handrails, and guardrails, replacing damaged sheetrock, repairing simple electrical and plumbing fixtures like toilets and ceiling lights, rebuilding decks and steps, etc. More complicated repairs are delegated to contractors like replacing roofs, electrical rewiring, and major plumbing repairs.

When we have an active home build, Saturdays become the dedicated day to work on the build site.
